The 2026 LEC Spring regular season was a rollercoaster of high level LoL esports drama from start to finish, but there were perhaps no more exciting peaks than the LEC Roadshow that took place in Paris and in Madrid this spring. Here with Thunderpick, we’re breaking down what you need to know about these events and what the future ones have in store for you to look forward to later this year in the LEC.

WHAT is an LEC Roadshow?

Originally announced in spring 2025 the LEC road trip series brought LEC regular season games to Madrid and to Évry in France. This year the same two hosts in MoviStar KOI (MKOI) and Karmine Corp will return to their respective home countries to host competitor teams. The LES Roadshow weekends this year brought some of the biggest stories of the spring split, so here at Thunderpick we’re going to cover the games from France and Spain and all the excitement that came alongside them.

Karmine Corp (KC) hosting at Évry was a big deal in multiple ways. LEC roadshow fans have known for years that the French home crowds respond in a major way when their teams perform on the biggest stages, and KC had not lost a game at that point throughout the split. When they returned to the Arènes de Grand Paris Sud in April, they were the team to beat. The schedule for the home teams at these stacked weekend events are intense, with 3 matches in 3 days but the pressure was really on KC to perform here when they were competing for the first seed ahead of the playoffs a month later. What followed was a statement streak from the home team, where they went unbeaten and claimed the first seed after week 5, beating Fnatic, Shifters, and Natus Vincere (NaVi)

When the LEC Versus Finals concluded in Barcelona the final Weekend of February, MKOI had already known they’d be hosting back home at the Madrid Arena. They did not know at the time that they’d be fighting to secure their upper bracket seed against 3 other teams all qualified for playoffs. MKOI finished their weekend 2-1 with wins over G2 and GiantX, but couldn’t finish the clean sweep for their LEC Roadtrip and lost to KC in a close 3 game series. Their performance was enough to secure their 6-3 match record over the regular season which brought them level with G2.

Eyes towards future events.

With both KC and MKOI confirmed to be hosting another LEC Roadshow event each, the statistical impact of these teams travelling to play in front of their home crowds will continue to develop. There’s Spring Split Playoffs and MSI this summer in South Korea before we see the games played during the Summer LEC Roadshow by MKOI on September 4th through 6th and the as of yet to be announced dates for KC’s summer weekend as well.
