Astralis

Astralis has the best odds of winning YaLLa Compass 2024. As of June 2, they’ve climbed to a peak rank of 7th in the HLTV World Ranking, with a 76.9% win rate in the last quarter. Their recent achievements include 3rd-4th place at CCT Season 1 Global Finals, ESL Pro League Season 19, and IEM Chengdu 2024.

The Danes boast a lineup of heavy hitters. This includes rising stars like br0 and veteran talent like dev1ce, the latter of whom serves as the team’s IGL. Adding stavn and jabbi from HEROIC has also paid off, with both players stepping up under dev1ce’s leadership.

Astralis roster:

  • Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz (IGL)
  • Victor “Staehr” Staehr
  • Martin “stavn” Lund
  • Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard
  • Alexander “br0” Bro
  • Casper “ruggah” Due (Coach)

Complexity Gaming

Despite a rocky performance at IEM Dallas 2024, the odds still favor Complexity to clinch the YaLLa Compass 2024 title. This optimism can be attributed to their stellar run at ESL Pro League Season 19, where they defeated reigning Major champions Natus Vincere and secured a spot in the Playoffs Semifinals.

While MOUZ later eliminated them, Complexity managed to snatch a game and showcase their potential with flashes of brilliance against formidable foes. You can credit this success to their cohesive and highly skilled lineup, which includes EliGE’s aggressive entry frags and JT’s strong strategic sense.

Complexity Gaming roster:

  • Johnny “JT” Theodosiou (IGL)
  • Ricky “floppy” Kemery
  • Michael “Grim” Wince
  • Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli
  • Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
  • Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (Coach)

Eternal Fire

Eternal Fire emerges as a potential dark horse at YaLLa Compass 2024. As of June 2, 2024, they are ranked 10th in the HLTV World Ranking, with a 68.2% win rate and an impressive five-game win streak in the last quarter. Their recent accomplishments include a 3rd-4th place finish at the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024.

The Turks were also victorious at the CCT Global Finals, ending with a dominant 3-1 win over Team Liquid and dropping only two maps throughout the event. This latest series underscores the potential of Eternal Fire, with star players XANTARES (1.33 rating) and Calyx (1.19 rating) consistently delivering powerful performances.

Eternal Fire roster:

  • İsmailcan “XANTARES”  Dörtkardeş
  • Buğra “Calyx” Arkın
  • Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli (IGL)
  • Ali “Wicadia” Yalçın
  • Özgür “woxic” Eker
  • Sezgin “Fabre” Kalaycı (Coach)

HEROIC

The odds indicate HEROIC is a solid contender with tremendous upset potential at YaLLa Compass 2024. Their recent track record includes 3rd-4th place at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade and 5th-6th place at IEM Dallas 2024, where the team’s resilience and capacity for strong comebacks were on full display.

HEROIC had a perfect run, clawing through M80, Natus Vincere, and BIG in the lower bracket at IEM Dallas 2024. This happened despite an initial loss to Virtus.pro in their opening game. They have also maintained a top-20 spot in the HLTV World Rankings, peaking at 9th place this year. Overall, HEROIC have a good shot at a top-3 finish and could exceed expectations if they stay on form.

HEROIC roster:

  • René “TeSeS” Madsen
  • Rasmus “sjuush” Beck
  • Guy “NertZ” Iluz
  • Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski (IGL)
  • Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov
  • Eetu “sAw” Saha (Coach)
