Teams Competing In VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025

Eight of the best VALORANT squads will battle it out in Bangkok this year, so let’s take a quick look at who’s participating and how they qualified.

Our Predictions For VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025

Masters Bangkok is the biggest VALORANT event of the year thus far, and every team in attendance has a claim to the throne. As a preview of who seems most likely to reach the podium, we’ve done our research to put together these betting predictions for the tournament.

Important note: To make our VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 predictions, we considered historical data, roster changes, and results from the regional VCT 2025 Kickoff events. Our analysis should not be considered betting advice to act upon. Past performances do not guarantee future results. Always gamble responsibly.

EDward Gaming

As the winners of VALORANT Champions 2024 and VCT 2025 China Kickoff, EDward Gaming is the team to beat in Bangkok. The world championship squad has remained unchanged since lifting the coveted trophy, so it’d be a bit of an upset if they didn’t at least reach the top 3.

It is worth noting that the VALORANT Champions 2024 MVP, Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang, is playing on another level so far this year. After all, his dominating performance earned him another MVP title at VCT 2025 China Kickoff.

EDward Gaming roster:

  • Wan “CHICHOO” Shunzhi
  • Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang
  • Zhang “Smoggy” Zhao
  • Lin “WoodAy1” Weihong
  • Hsieh “S1Mon” Meng-hsun
  • Wang “nobody” Senxu (IGL)
  • Tang “Muggle” Shijun (Coach)
  • Liu “Century” Shiji (Coach)

G2 Esports

Led by Jacob “valyn” Batio’s world-class gamesense and tactics, G2 Esports barreled through  VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff. The squad features some of the best North American players, and they made the upper bracket of the regional Kickoff event look easy. They cruised it to the Grand Final without dropping a single map!

In the Grand Final of VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff, G2 Esports showed the world that they could mount a comeback, too, by earning two consecutive map wins to beat Sentinels 3-2. G2 looks like a powerful team in top form, which is why we think they could make it to the Grand Final in Bangkok.

G2 Esports roster:

  • Jonah “JonahP” Pulice
  • Trent “trent” Cairns
  • Nathan “leaf” Orf
  • Alexander “jawgemo” Mor
  • Jacob “valyn” Batio (IGL)
  • Josh “JoshRT” Lee (Coach)
  • Peter “shhhack” Belej (Coach)

DRX

Following a respectable 5th/6th place finish at VALORANT Champions 2024, DRX added No “freeing” Ha-jun and young Duelist prospect Song “HYUNMIN” Hyun-min to the lineup—and it paid off. The two new players, paired with the return of BeYN to the active roster, helped the team thrive in the VCT 2025 Pacific Kickoff.

BeYN’s impact in the Initiator role and MaKo’s fantastic leadership led DRX to sweep favorites Gen.G Esports in the upper bracket. They then beat T1 with a 3-2 score in the Grand Final to secure a first-place finish. DRX appears to be on a roll, and we think they’ve got the goods to continue winning in Bangkok.

DRX roster:

  • Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk
  • No “freeing” Ha-jun
  • Song “HYUNMIN” Hyun-min
  • Kang “BeYN” Ha-bin
  • Kim “MaKo” Myeong-kwan (IGL)
  • Seon-ho “termi” Pyeon (Coach)
  • Kwon “Argency” Soon-woo (Coach)
  • Kim “glow” Min-soo (Coach)

Trace Esports

Chinese organization Trace Sports suffered two decisive, heartbreaking losses at VALORANT Champions 2024, dropping out in 7th/8th place. While that would typically lead to a roster shakeup, Trace did the opposite—and it appears to have paid off.

The team’s synergy is undeniable. At the VCT 2025 China Kickoff event, Trace Esports knocked EDward Gaming into the lower bracket with a fantastic 2-0 sweep and then beat Bilibili Gaming 2-1 to make it to the Grand Final.

Despite EDward Gaming taking revenge in the Grand Final of VCT 2025 China Kickoff, it’s clear that Trace Esports can go toe-to-toe with the best in the world. That’s why they’ve earned our final prediction spot for VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025.

Trace Esports roster:

  • Song “FengF” Xuefeng
  • Ho “HeiB” Shun-hei
  • Lu “Kai” Zhinan
  • Cui “cxyy” Xinyu
  • Zhang “LuoK1ng” Zhanpeng
  • Zhong “Biank” Jianfei (IGL)
  • Gu “destroyeR” Jiaming (Coach)
  • Zhang “Yiyee” Tianyuan (Coach)
