Our Predictions For LTA Championships 2025
The LTA is a breeding ground for top talent, but even the region’s brightest prospects can crack under pressure. Here are the teams with the best odds of earning a seat at Worlds 2025.
Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest available odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.
FlyQuest
FlyQuest already locked in their spot at Worlds, making them an outright favorite at the 2025 LTA Championship. Ranked 6th on Riot’s Global Power Rankings with a 23-5 overall record (82.1% win rate), their overall performance this year has been absolutely phenomenal.
They finished 3rd at the LTA North Split 1, 3rd-4th at Cross-Conference, and clinched back-to-back title wins at Splits 2 and 3 to cement their domestic dominance. At MSI, they placed 6th and even pushed Chinese heavyweights BLG to a full five-game series.
FlyQuest recently impressed with perfect 3-0 sweeps in both the Pick & Play and Elimination phases of Split 3, conceding only a single map each to Shopify Rebellion and 100 Thieves in the Playoffs. With Bwipo earning Player of the Series honors and Massu and Quad posting rock-solid stat lines, FlyQuest look every bit the frontrunner for the LTA crown.
FlyQuest roster:
- Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau
- Kacper “Inspired” Słoma
- Song “Quad” Soo-hyung
- Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek
- Alan “Busio” Cwalina
- Erlend “Nukeduck” Våtevik (Coach)
100 Thieves
100 Thieves are next in line for the top spot, ranked 23rd globally with a 16-9 record and 64.0% win rate. Besides a 0-3 slip-up at LTA North Split 2 that cost them 5th-6th place, the team has delivered consistent results this season, clinching 1st in Split 1 and 2nd at the Cross-Conference and Split 3.
The team boasts a lineup of superstar veterans. FBI’s return to the bot lane last year has already paid off, while Dhokla’s transition from positional coach to sixth man has brought renewed energy. The substitute top laner posted a 63.6% win rate across 22 games played, adding critical flexibility to their draft.
Beyond that, 100 Thieves demonstrated tremendous resilience. Despite going 0-3 in the Pick & Play Phase of Split 3, they took down LYON to reach the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals. They then proceeded to rip through Team Liquid, Cloud9, and Shopify Rebellion with clutch plays on their way to the Finals.
100 Thieves roster:
- Rayan “Sniper” Shoura
- Kim “River” Dong-woo
- Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung
- Ian “FBI” Huang
- Bill “Eyla” Nguyen
- Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer (Coach)
Shopify Rebellion
Shopify Rebellion is a dark horse at the LTA Championships 2025. Despite ranking only 31st in the LoL Global Power Rankings and posting a rough 10-14 record (41.7% win rate), the team has a proven track record in the domestic league, finishing 3rd at both Split 2 and 3 not long after the merge.
They’ve done well to leverage Contractz’s strong jungle presence and Bvoy’s carry potential to stabilize what was a shaky start to the season. However, the team’s biggest question mark is mid, with Palafox criticized as the team’s weak link, especially against higher-caliber players like 100 Thieves’ Quid.
While Shopify Rebellion may not be able to topple FlyQuest (the “untouchables”) or 100 Thieves, they could still make a run for the third Worlds spot by fending off the surging Vivo Keyd Stars, especially with LTA South not looking like much of a threat.
Shopify Rebellion roster:
- Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami
- Juan “Contractz” Garcia
- Cristian “Palafox” Palafox
- Ju “Bvoy” Yeong-hoon
- Denilson “Ceos” Gonçalves
- Seong “Reven” Sang-hyeon (Coach)
