The League of Legends universe stretches far beyond Summoner’s Rift, and Riot’s expansive lineup of official spinoffs proves it. From auto-battlers and card games to RPGs and fighting games, Runeterra has expanded to multiple genres and different arenas. We’ll explore every official League of Legends spinoff game, covering both Riot-developed projects and the wider collection of Riot Forge collaborations made with third-party studios.
Note: This list only covers LoL spinoffs and excludes any unreleased projects, experimental minigames, and tabletop or trading-card products.

1. 2XKO – The League of Legends Spinoff Fighting Game
2XKO is Riot’s upcoming 2v2 tag-team fighting game and the studio’s first real step into the fighting game community. Its roster pulls champions from both LoL and Arcane, and they all have unique movesets built around flashy chains, assist mechanics, and combos.
With a ranked leaderboard already in place and plans for competitive play in the works, 2XKO is set to become the go-to arena for explosive solo fights and 2v2 brawls. The game is currently in Early Access and is scheduled to launch on consoles in January 2026.
- Release date: Oct. 7, 2025 (Early Access)
- Platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC

2. Teamfight Tactics
Teamfight Tactics is a strategic, round-based auto-battler where you recruit, upgrade, and position a team of champions on a board to outlast seven other players. Initially inspired by the Dota 2 mod Dota Auto Chess, TFT has become one of Riot’s most successful LoL spinoffs.
When combat begins, your units will fight automatically, so your success depends heavily on smart play. This includes managing your economy, itemizing effectively, stacking the right traits, and knowing when to use which champions for each stage of the game.
- Release date: Jun. 26, 2019
- Platforms: macOS, PC, Android, iOS

3. Legends of Runeterra
Legends of Runeterra (LoR) is a 1v1 strategy-based collectible card game designed around flexible deckbuilding and reactive combat. Like traditional TCGs, it features multiple card types. However, each belongs to a specific region, pushing you toward distinct playstyles and strategies.
While this system ships with nearly endless creative combinations, it demands careful sequencing. That’s because you’ll mix and match champions, followers, spells, and regions to create powerful synergies that let you outplay your opponents. In a similar vein, Riftbound is a new take on LoR, being a physical TCG. So now whether you want to move physical cardboard around or prefer a digital client – there’s a League of Legends Spinoff card game for you.
- Release date: Apr. 29, 2020
- Platforms: PC, iOS, Android

4. League of Legends: Wild Rift
Wild Rift is a mobile and console adaptation of LoL, offering a nearly identical 5v5 MOBA experience in a faster and more accessible format. It retains all the core elements: laning, objectives, and macroplay, but it reworks items, abilities, and controls to support handheld and dual-stick play.
What makes Wild Rift especially attractive is its bustling esports scene. With regular events like the Ionia Cup and Super League, the game perfectly captures the intensity of competitive PC League without the long, drawn-out matches typical of LoL.
- Release date: Oct. 27, 2020
- Platforms: Android, iOS

5. Ruined King: A League of Legends Story
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a turn-based RPG developed by Airship Syndicate in partnership with comic book artist Joe Madureira. It features his signature hand-drawn art style and is set across Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles. The game follows a band of champions who unite to confront the creeping Black Mist and its source, Viego.
You’ll build a party from a limited roster of iconic LoL champions and combine abilities to craft different strategies. The lane (or “route”) initiative system adds extra tactical depth by letting you adjust everything from action speeds, cast times, effects, and your response to threats.
- Release date: Nov. 16, 2021
- Platforms: PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC

6. Hextech Mayhem
Hextech Mayhem is another Riot Forge project, described as a “fast-paced rhythm runner” that leans into pure chaos. You’ll play as Ziggs and rush through side-scrolling levels in Piltover, outrunning “no-fun” Heimer and blowing up everything in your path in your pursuit of building the world’s greatest bomb.
If you’re a fan of arcade auto-scrollers like Temple Run or Canabalt, then Hextech Mayhem will be perfect for you. It’s everything you’d expect from a classic platformer, except it cranks up the fun: it’s faster, unhinged, and packed with LoL references!
- Release date: Nov. 16, 2021
- Platforms: Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, PC

7. The Mageseeker
The Mageseeker is a top-down action RPG set in the heart of Demacia. In the game, you’ll take control of Sylas, a spellstealing mage who’s just broken free from captivity and is dead set on leading a rebellion against Demacia’s iron-fisted rule.
While the game doesn’t feature an expansive roster of playable champions, you’ll encounter plenty of characters from League, including Garen, Lux, Morgana, Shyvana, and Jarvan (plus a few more as cameos).
- Release date: April 18, 2023
- Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC

8. CONV/RGENCE
CONV/RGENCE is a story-driven 2D action platformer that blends fast movement with tight combat and a unique time-rewind mechanic centered around Ekko and Zaun. Although conceived before Arcane’s release, the game includes numerous LoL character references.
You’ll play as Ekko and explore a side-scrolling world, using his inventions to reverse or slow time to move past obstacles and outsmart enemies.
- Release date: May 23, 2023
- Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC

9. Song of Nunu
Song of Nunu takes you on a heartfelt journey through the frostbitten land of the Freljord. You’ll play as a young boy in search of his mother and a magical item called the Heart of the Blue, guided by his Yeti best friend, Willump.
As you travel, you’ll forge new friendships and face powerful champions like Braum, Ornn, Volibear, and Lissandra. Expect to solve puzzles, dodge hazards, have snowball fights, and enjoy countless emotional moments in Riot Forge’s cozy single-player platformer.

- Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC

10. Bandle Tale
Last but not least, Bandle Tale wraps up our list of LoL spinoff games. The game is a cross between RPG and life sim, set in the world of Bandle City, the home of the Yordle race. It sees you play as a shy Yordle whose knitting magic becomes key to saving the world.
After a disaster collapses the city’s portals, you’ll stitch, cook, garden, and invent your way across five islands to restore them. Along the way, you’ll also befriend Yordles and even team up with LoL champions, making this title a perfect pick for a chill, lighter slice of Runeterra.
