As the year winds down, one final significant League of Legends (LoL) esports event is set to entertain throughout the off-season. Demacia Cup 2025 features many top Chinese teams from the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), making it an ideal option for fans awaiting the 2026 season.

Let’s discuss all the essential Demacia Cup 2025 details: tournament format, schedule, prize pool distribution, competing teams, where you can watch all the action, and our expert LoL betting predictions.

Demacia Cup 2025 Format & Schedule

Demacia Cup 2025 runs from Dec. 15, 2025, to Jan. 3, 2026, and it features 16 teams competing across three distinct stages.

The LoL esports action begins with the Group Stage (Dec. 15 to 18). It includes the eight lowest-seeded teams (including two streamer teams) in two groups of four, with a Round Robin format in which all matches are best-of-three. The top two teams per group advance to the next stage, while the rest are eliminated.

A second Group Stage (Dec. 19 to 25) will feature two groups of five teams. The format is Round Robin, and all matches are best-of-three. The top three teams in each group then advance to the final stage.

The Knockout Stage (Dec. 26, 2025, to Jan. 3, 2026) has a single-elimination playoff bracket, where all matches are best-of-five. While the first matches of the Knockout Stage are played online, the final four will battle it out on LAN at the Shanghai League Arena in China from Jan. 1 to 3, 2026.

Our Predictions For Demacia Cup 2025

The LPL is a highly contested region in the LoL esports scene. Sparks are set to fly as squads look to boost their confidence heading into the 2026 season, challenging themselves to grab a piece of the prize pool and a shiny trophy. We, too, love a challenge, which is why we’re attempting to predict the precise outcome of Demacia Cup 2025.

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest available odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

Bilibili Gaming

Kicking off their claim to the Demacia Cup 2025 throne at the top of the pack in Stage 2 is Bilibili Gaming. They are the LPL 2025 Split 3 champions, and while they felt to 9th-11th place at Worlds 2025, they remain our favorites for this event.

Bilibili Gaming announced its roster for the 2026 season, adding jungler Peng “XUN” Lixun and botlane player Park “Viper” Do-hyeon. Unlike many other teams competing at Demacia Cup 2025, this crew is at full power as they aim for a big start to 2026 by lifting the trophy on Jan. 3.

Bilibili Gaming roster:

  • Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin
  • Peng “XUN” Lixun
  • Park “Viper” Do-hyeon
  • Liu “Yxl” Yuxuan
  • Luo “ON” Wenjun
  • Li “Chieh” Jie (Coach)

JD Gaming

As an organization, JD Gaming missed out on Worlds 2025 by the skin of their teeth, losing 1-3 against Invictus Gaming at the final hurdle of the LPL 2025 Regional Finals. In the off-season, JD Gaming made sweeping roster changes, creating a powerful squad by combining players previously from CTBC Flying Oyster, Royale Never Give Up, Invictus Gaming, and Team WE.

The new roster inspires confidence for the 2026 season, and Demacia Cup 2025 will serve as a proving ground. We predict JD Gaming will rise to the challenge and make it all the way to the Grand Final.

JD Gaming roster:

  • Xu “Xiaoxu” Xingzu
  • Yu “JunJia” Chun-chia
  • Tsai “hongQ” Ming-hong
  • Chen “GALA” Wei
  • Zhao “Vampire” Zhecan
  • Wong “Tabe” Pak-kan (Coach)

Top Esports

There’s an interesting mix of Top Esports players competing at Demacia Cup 2025, with some from the main roster and others from the sister team, Top Esports Challenger. At the heart of the squad is support Wang “Fengyue” Runlai, who helped Top Esports to a 3rd-4th place at Worlds 2025.

Top Esports starts in the Knockout Stage, so they just need one best-of-five win to claim a top-four spot. Due to the roster mix, we think the squad will fall to third place.

Top Esports roster:

  • Cheng “ZUIAN” Zi-Hao
  • Yang “naiyou” Zi-Jian
  • Zou “Nia” Guang-Lu
  • Zi “JiaQi” Jia-Qi
  • Wang “fengyue” Run-Lai
  • Chang “Poppy” Po-hao (Coach)

Anyone’s Legend

Some fans may wonder why we placed Anyone’s Legend fourth rather than first in the Demacia Cup 2025. After all, they placed 5th-8th at Worlds 2025 and 3rd in LPL Split 3. Well, our lower-than-expected ranking is due to one simple fact: for this event, the Anyone’s Legend Young (youth team) roster is listed as the participants.

The organization explained the decision by noting that the main roster is traveling to South Korea and that the young players on the second team have “maintained a high-intensity training and positive growth momentum.”

Considering the positive outlook, the organization’s pedigree, and that Anyone’s Legend starts in the Knockout Stage, there’s a good chance they’ll make it through.

Anyone’s Legend roster:

  • Zhong “YiNova” Jia-Yi
  • Li “GLFS” Hao
  • Ding “Sinian” Jia-Ming
  • Xu “TheHang” Lin-Hang
  • Ren “Wunai3” Hao-Yuan
  • Yan “Stargazer” Yi-Xu (Coach)

Who Will Rise At Demacia Cup 2025?

Can Top Esports and Anyone’s Legend make it past one match in the Knockout Stage for a smooth ride into the top four? Will favorites Bilibili Gaming lift the Demacia Cup 2025 trophy, or will the new JD Gaming roster reign supreme? We can’t wait to find out!
