Most Expensive LoL Skins
PAX Twisted Fate Skin
Fate must smile upon you to see an account for sale with the PAX Twisted Fate skin. An account with the PAX Twisted Fate skin can cost between $1,200 and $2,200. Many LoL skin collectors consider this skin to be the most valuable, even though it doesn’t feature any new animations or sounds for the popular LoL Champion.
Players could only earn this skin by being the first 20,000 to attend the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in 2009. Following the event, the code sold for roughly $450. Note: Riot Games removed the ability to redeem these skin codes in 2014.
Black Alistar Skin
The price of a Black Alistar skin ranges between $900 and $1,500, depending on the number of extra skins and RP on the account. It is one of the first LoL skins, released in the Collector’s Edition in 2009 as a pre-order bonus.
Fewer than 1% of LoL accounts have a Black Alistar skin, and it is impossible to obtain one unless you purchase an account with one attached. The price is expected to rise in 2024 due to the rarity of the Black Alistar skin and its unavailability through official channels like the item shop.
Triumphant Ryze Skin
Dating back to Sept. 1, 2009, when LoL was still in its beta phase, players received the Triumphant Ryze as a gift for winning a Riot Games-sponsored tournament. Therefore, with its gem-infused scroll on the character’s back, Triumphant Ryze has a value of just over $400 if you are lucky enough to spot an account up for sale.
PAX Jax Skin
An account with a PAX Jax skin will set you back between $500 and $600. Only PAX 2010 attendees received codes for this skin. Like other PAX exclusives from years ago, you can no longer redeem codes for this skin, which features a Pac-Man symbol.
PAX Sivir Skin
The legacy LoL skin, PAX Sivir, is estimated to be worth $300. PAX Sivir has a futuristic biker look inspired by the Tron movie and was only available to those who attended PAX 2011 in person.
Championship Riven Skin
A legendary skin once available via the in-game store for 975 RP, Championship Riven is now valued at $350. The skin came to life with its neon blue lava theme and unique Recall Animation to celebrate the League of Legends World Championship (LoL Worlds) 2012. In 2015, Champion Riven returned as a reward for players who made all the correct Worlds Pick’Em predictions.
King Rammus Skin
King Rammus is one of the rarest League of Legends skins, because it was only available for those who participated in the game’s Closed Beta test. There was no way to obtain this skin after Oct. 21, 2009, which is why an account with King Rammus has an estimated value of $450. Not only is King Rammus rare, but it also looks fantastic with its Bowser-inspired appearance.
Riot Squad Singed Skin
The average value of a Riot Squad Singed skin with a police design is $240 at the start of 2024. This skin features a shield and helmet design inspired by real-life riot police officers, and it was also never available via the in-game store. Only Gamescom 2010 attendees could obtain a code for the Riot Squad Singed skin.
Young Ryze Skin
Young Ryze, also referred to as Human Ryze, has an estimated worth of $900. The skin dates back to June 14, 2009 as part of the pre-order Digital Collector’s Edition of LoL. This makes it similar to Black Alistar, though it’s not quite as popular amongst skin collectors.
Victorious Jarvan IV Skin
The Victorious Jarvan IV skin was the first-ever end-of-season reward when it was released on Aug. 23, 2011. It was also the start of the Victorious skinline! An account with the Victorious Jarvan IV skin will set you back roughly $450. It features silver armor with a golden trim, and it was only available to players who reached the Gold tier or higher in the first season.
Silver Kayle Skin
As one of the four pre-order Digital Collector’s Edition skins, Silver Kayle was never sold for RP. Silver Kayle is worth roughly $100 and features a silver sword and armor.
UFO Corki Skin
The UFO Corki skin will set you back roughly $90. Riot Games gave away this skin as a promotional item to accounts registered on or before Jan. 14, 2010. That’s right, your account must be roughly 14 years old to have one of these shiny cosmetic items! There is currently no official way to obtain a new UFO Corki skin.
Noxus Hunter Anivia Skin
Released on Aug. 24, 2010, Noxus Hunter Anivia has an estimated value of $110. It was one of the first skins released for the in-game store and used to cost a mere 520 RP before moving into the Legacy vault. Noxus Hunter Anivia features golden armor and a helmet with two horns.
Riot Kayle Skin
Sporting policewoman riot gear outfit, Riot Kayle was released on Aug. 13, 2014. This legacy skin includes new sounds, particle effects on abilities, and auto-attacks. Riot Kayle was previously available for 975 RP and is currently worth $60.
Rusty Blitzcrank Skin
Rusty Blitzcrank will set you back an average of $90. It sold for only 520 RP in November 2009 via the in-game store but was removed quickly after release, never to return. Riot Games didn’t explain the Rusty Blitzcrank removal, but many players speculate that it was due to the skin’s quality.
