As the final event of the BLAST Premier 2025 season, eight Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams will set the stage alight at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, China. BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 is an unmissable esports event, and we couldn’t be more excited for it.

Let’s discuss all the essential details of the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 (also known as BLAST Rivals Fall 2025), including the tournament format and schedule, competing teams, prize pool distribution, how to watch the action live, and our expert betting predictions.

BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 Schedule & Format

From Nov. 12-16, BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 takes place on LAN. The S-Tier CS2 tournament features two distinct stages of competition.

In the Group Stage (Nov. 12-13), teams will compete in two groups of four, featuring a double-elimination (GSL-style) format. All matches in the Group Stage are best-of-three, and the top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage. Group winners will earn spots directly in the Semifinals, while runners-up advance to the Quarterfinals as the High Seeds, and third-place finishers advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds.

The Playoffs Stage (Nov. 14-16) features a single-elimination bracket format, where Quarterfinals and Semifinals matches are best-of-three, and the Grand Final is best-of-five.

Our Predictions For BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2

To make our predictions for BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2, we considered a myriad of factors, including expected player form, current VRS rankings, performances on LAN, and recent matchup histories.

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest available odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

Team Falcons

It’s high time that Team Falcons lives up to their potential as a superteam. At both ESL Pro League Season 22 and IEM Chengdu 2025, we saw Team Falcons’ star AWPer, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, take his game to the next level. They’ve had their slumps but they had a good start

And then there’s other big names on the roster, including living legend NiKo and rifling wunderkind Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin. Their IGL and five-time Major-winning coach have found a beautiful formula, too, and Danish rifler René “TeSeS” Madsen keeps the rounds running smoothly.

Team Falcons roster:

  • Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov
  • Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
  • René “TeSeS” Madsen
  • Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin
  • Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski (IGL)
  • Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Coach)

Team Vitality

In the first half of 2025, Team Vitality was an unstoppable force on LAN. While the squad suffered a slump after winning the BLAST.tv Austin Major, they’ve bounced back to win ESL Pro League Season 22. With eight top-tier trophies added to their cabinet this year, it would be foolish to think Team Vitality can’t make a podium finish.

Recent matches indicate that both Estonian rifler Robin “ropz” Kool and French AWPer Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut are on top form, which should send shivers down the spines of their opponents.

We predict that Team Vitality will top Group B and earn a spot directly in the Semifinals of BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2. From there, Dan “apEX” Madesclaire could likely lead his team to the Grand Final to face either FURIA, Team Spirit, or Team Falcons.

Team Vitality roster:

  • Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut
  • Robin “ropz” Kool
  • Shahar “flameZ” Shushan
  • William “mezii” Merriman
  • Dan “apEX” Madesclaire (IGL)
  • Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Coach)

FURIA

FURIA kept us on the edge of our seats at the Thunderpick World Championship (TWC) 2025 Finals in Malta. The way FURIA pulled off the incredible 3-2 reverse-sweep to beat NAVI in the Grand Final is still fresh in our minds.

FURIA from TWC are a favorite for BLAST Rivals Fall 2025

The TWC 2025 trophy wasn’t FURIA’s first Tier 1 silverware of the year, either, as they won FISSURE Playground 2 in September. With two significant LAN trophies in their cabinet, FURIA is hungry for more.

Then you have to consider the stunning play of Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, who was named TWC 2025 MVP, and two-time Major-winning IGL, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo. This all leads us to believe FURIA can end up on the podium or go all the way.

FURIA roster:

  • Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis
  • Yuri “yuurih” Boian
  • Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
  • Danil “molodoy” Golubenko
  • Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo (IGL)
  • Sidnei “sidde” Macedo (Coach)

Team Spirit

Team Spirit is on shaky ground. The Russian outfit got off to a good start at IEM Chengdu 2025, beating paiN Gaming 2-0, before getting smacked down to the lower bracket of Group B. Spirit did manage to reverse-sweep HEROIC to stay alive, but then fell to The MongolZ at the last hurdle.

Despite this squad suffering elimination before the IEM Chengdu 2025 Playoffs Stage, we think they could bounce back and earn a top-four finish at BLAST Rivals Season 2. Maybe exciting newcomer Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich (previously from HEROIC) just needs some more time to acclimate to the squad.

All eyes are on 2024 Player of the Year Danil “donk” Kryshkovets and AWPer Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov. If these two can perform at their peak, few other teams stand a chance.

Team Spirit roster:

  • Danil “donk” Kryshkovets
  • Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov
  • Ivan “zweih” Gogin
  • Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich
  • Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov (IGL)
  • Sergey “hally” Shavayev (Coach)

We also want to give honorable mentions to MOUZ and The MongolZ. The latter made a recent, shocking roster decision to bench star rifler Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, adding an extra layer of uncertainty.

Who’s Ready For BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2?

Will an underdog rise through the ranks at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2? Could a home advantage be enough for TYLOO to make it to the Playoffs, or will the favorites prosper? These questions are keeping us on the edge of our seats as we get closer to BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2.
