Team Falcons

Team Falcons enter ESL One Bangkok 2024 as strong favorites. Despite a recent setback at BLAST Slam I, they remain atop the EPT leaderboard thanks to a dominant season marked by multiple victories at Tier 1 events, including BetBoom Dacha Dubai and Belgrade, DreamLeague Season 23 and 24, and ESL One Birmingham 2024.

With a powerhouse roster, the team boasts exceptional adaptability, mechanical skill, and synergy—qualities that make them a nightmare to counter. When you combine that with their stunning off-meta strategies, Team Falcons is primed to clinch the trophy on the big stage.

Team Falcons roster:

  • Oliver “skiter” Lepko
  • Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
  • Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf
  • Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
  • Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun (Captain)
  • Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling (Coach)

Team Liquid

The odds position Team Liquid as the next in line to secure the crown. While the team’s track record has been a bit inconsistent, they shine when it matters most. They placed first at The International 2024, second at Riyadh Masters, second at BetBoom Dacha Dubai, and first at Elite League Season 2.

At the heart of Team Liquid’s success are the players, each considered among the top in their respective roles. They also boast a strong coaching crew that features seven-time TI runner-up Blitz, whose strategic input has undoubtedly helped Liquid outperform tough opponents at key events.

Team Liquid roster:

  • Michael “miCKe” Vu (Captain)
  • Michał “Nisha” Jankowski
  • Jonáš “SaberLight” Volek
  • Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
  • Aydin “Insania” Sarkohi

BetBoom Team

BetBoom has been on an impressive run lately. And that’s in spite of a recent roster shuffle, which included the acquisition of kiyotaka and Kataomi, along with Pure~ returning to the carry role. The team just continues to demonstrate extraordinary cohesion and performance.

BetBoom’s victory at BLAST Slam I spoke volumes about their talents. They powered through the Group Stage 3-1 to secure a direct spot in the semifinals. They then beat PARIVISION 2-0 and proceeded to take down Tundra 3-1 in the grand finals, ending a long-running trend of placing top 4 at major events. If BetBoom can maintain this momentum, they’ll be a formidable contender in Bangkok.

BetBoom Team roster:

  • Ivan “Pure~” Moskalenko
  • Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov
  • Matvey “MieRo`” Vasyunin
  • Vitalie “Save-” Melnic (Captain)
  • Vladislav “Kataomi`” Semenov

PARIVISION

PARIVISION emerges as a potential dark horse capable of making significant upsets at ESL One Bangkok 2024. Established on Oct. 18, the team’s mix of veteran talent has already proven its mettle. Their debut resulted in a second-place finish at RES Regional Championship followed by fourth place at both DreamLeague Season 24 and 1win Series Dota 2 Fall.

The Russian squad also turned heads after securing 3rd-4th at BLAST Slam I, beating TI champions Team Liquid 2-0 before being edged out by BetBoom in the semifinals—all without their Captain, Dukalis. While still an underdog, PARIVISION’s fearless playstyle makes them a strong candidate for a breakout performance.

PARIVISION roster:

  • Remco “Crystallis” Arets
  • Volodymyr “No[o]ne-” Minenko
  • Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin
  • Edgar “9Class” Naltakian
  • Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin (Captain)
