LCS Spring Split 2026 Starts April 4th and if you want to make sure you’re tapped in for the start of the regular season then Thunderpick has the info you need ahead of the big debut. The LCS has something to prove recently after the results that they faced from the Americas Cup and from First Stand 2026. With springs split underway the teams are going to have to contend with a two month regular season ahead of finals starting in June. What remains to be seen however is whether or not LCS Rankings will be similar to the LCS 2026 Lock-In split or if the International Events that have taken place have changed the perception of certain teams and affected the standings.
Perhaps the most important thing to talk about when it comes to discussing the shake up for the 2026 spring split is the format, with the regular season playing round robin best-of-three. Teams competing in the round robin are attempting to qualify for a top 6 playoff bracket and additionally the top two teams of the bracket will be featured at MSI as representatives of the LCS.
Below are our current predictions for LCS Rankings ahead of the 1st weekend.
| Team | Position |
| Cloud9 | 1st |
| Sentinels | 2nd |
| LYON | 3rd |
| Team Liquid | 4th |
| Flyquest | 5th |
| Disguised | 6th |
| Dignitas | 7th – Misses Playoffs |
| Shopify Rebellion | 8th – Misses Playoffs |

Starting with the top team in Cloud 9, the results from First Stand 2026 seemed to suggest that more aggressive early game tempo and jungle pressure are the way to go going forward for the year. This heavily benefits Cloud 9 whose star Jungler Blaber is famous for the Scuttle Crab Fight Club memes and is the sort of player that could generally push this team to the next level across this split. Lastly, C9 have perhaps the most smooth run through their regular season games, while starting tough against LYON and Sentinels, it would appear that their remaining games shouldn’t be an uphill battle and would make qualifying easier for them than their competitors.
Sentinels are next and our prediction to put them ahead of LYON who have just finished 5th-6th at First Stand seems at first glance a little peculiar. However Sentinels is chock-full with veteran experience and with these veterans comes the ability to play with The bigger picture in mind. Players like impact and Huhi are specifically going to be valuable when it comes to the experience that they’re bringing because when you’re talking about playing through a two month long split, resilience is a huge part of the problem. Having veterans that are cool under pressure will assist in a big way with qualifying for the playoffs.

To briefly cover the team that we’ve put on the bottom of the LCS Rankings, Spotify Rebellion represents perhaps the most uncertain position here. With the departure of Palafox at the end of last season Shopify Rebellion placed last in the 2026 Lock-In, where it seems as though the team has yet to recreate any kind of the synergy they’d had previously. Their players have proven records of being able to reach the tops of NA League of Legends. They could well be the dark horse to bet on for this season, and to upset our predictions.
