The Playoffs (March 30-31) will take place in front of a live audience at the K.B Hallen Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. Teams will compete in a single elimination bracket, with all matches played as a best-of-seven (BO7) series. The victor will be crowned the RLCS 2024: Major 1 Champion.

Our Predictions For RLCS 2024: Major 1

Need help deciding on your RLCS 2024 bets? Here is our analysis of the top three teams competing for the Rocket League Major 1 title.

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

Karmine Corp

Karmine Corp emerges as a favorite at the RLCS 2024: Major 1 after seizing the top seed in the European circuit. The French titans already boast an impressive track record, with victories against 2022-23 World Champions Team Vitality as well as BDS and Gentle Mates Alpine, solidifying KCorp’s status as a superteam.

Recognized for their high-tier, consistent strategic plays, KCorp’s odds of clinching the Major 1 title are strongly linked to their strong lineup. Spearheading the charge is Vatira, Shift’s best player of 2023. He helped the team win the Winter Split and place in the top four at the Spring Split and RL World Championship.

Vatira also has a legacy of 7x RLCS MVPs and 9x Regional trophies, which is further bolstered by the acquisition of Rise and Atow from BDS and Team Liquid, respectively. Their addition has not only enhanced the team’s skill set but infused it with fresh perspectives, much of which has already been evident in the RLCS.

Roster:

  • Axel “Vatira” Touret
  • Finlay “rise.” Ferguson
  • Tristan “Atow.” Soyez

Team BDS

The odds position Team BDS as a formidable contender in the RLCS 2024: Major 1, emerging as one of the main challengers to disrupt Karmine Corp’s dominant run. Their potential is underscored by their second-place performance in the European Qualifiers, even though their head-to-head record against KC stands at only 6-12.

Still, this record includes several tightly contested matches, highlighting BDS’s ability to compete at the highest level. Like KCorp, the Swiss team also has a track record of impressive finishes, including placing second in the Spring Split and the World Championships last year, both times falling to the might of Team Vitality.

The introduction of Moroccan rookie drailii, coupled with the inclusion of former KCorp player ExoTiiK, has massively strengthened Team BDS’s lineup in the RLCS 2024 season. While these changes have shown promise, it remains to be seen whether BDS can elevate their performance to win the Major 1 title.

Roster:

  • Evan “M0nkey M00n” Rogez
  • Samy “dralii”
  • Brice “ExoTiiK” Bigeard
  • Alexandre “Extra” Paoli (substitute)

Team Vitality

After much deliberation between Vitality and G2 Stride for our third choice, we ultimately leaned towards Vitality—the reigning 2022-23 World Champions. The French powerhouse has proven their mettle against titans like BDS. However, their struggles against the current RLCS leaders, KCorp, are notable, as evidenced by a 4-11 record in the Major 1 European Qualifiers.

All that said, the individual prowess of Vitality’s players is undeniable. All three of the team’s players are ranked in Shift’s top 5 players list, reflecting incredible talent. This talent has been marred by a few critical in-game errors, though, which raises concerns about their ability to secure high-quality wins.

Despite a flawless performance during the RLCS 2022-23 Spring Split, Team Vitality’s form since then has been less consistent. This is thought to be influenced by the departure of former head coach, Ferra, which seems to have impacted their strategic coherence and form. But there is a chance the French juggernauts could bounce back under the guidance of their new head coach, Fairy Peak!

Given these factors, Vitality’s current form against top contenders like KCorp and BDS positions them as somewhat unpredictable, even though they possess the skills and experience to clinch the RLCS 2024: Major 1 title.

Roster:

  • Yanis “Alpha54” Champenois
  • Andrea “Radosin” Radovanović
  • Alexis “zen” Bernier
