Traditionally held later in the year, CS Asia Championships shifts to Q2 in 2026 on the bustling CS2 tournament calendar<\/a>. Running from May 19 to 24, CS Asia Championships 2026 features two stages of competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All 16 teams start in the Group Stage (May 19 to 22), where they are divided into two groups of eight. The format is double-elimination GSL-style, with best-of-one opening matches. All other matches are best-of-three. The winners of each group advance directly to the Semifinals. Runners-up advance to the Quarterfinals as the High Seeds, and 3rd-place finishers advance as the Low Seeds in the Quarterfinals. The rest are eliminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In front of a crowd at Shanghai Yuanshen Gymnasium, the final six teams will compete in the single-elimination Playoffs Stage (May 22 to 24). The Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Third-Place Decider matches are best-of-three, and the Grand Final is best-of-five. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
