CS2 esports fans should mark their calendars from June 2 to 21, when the IEM Cologne Major 2026 is scheduled to unfold. Taking place live on LAN, the tournament boasts four distinct stages of competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first three stages use the same 16-team Swiss system, with the top eight teams advancing to the next stage. Advancement and elimination matches are best-of-three, while all other matches are best-of-one. Stage 1 runs from June 2 to 5, Stage 2 from June 6 to 9, and Stage 3 from June 11 to 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Playoffs Stage (June 18 to 21) will see the final eight teams converge on the iconic LANXESS Arena venue in Cologne, Germany. A single-elimination bracket format is used, with Quarterfinal and Semifinal matches being best-of-three. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, June 21, the IEM Cologne Major 2026\u2019s Grand Final will take place, and we\u2019ll see a champion crowned to wrap up the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
