While the website is regarded as a reputable source of information, it\u2019s important to reiterate that these numbers may differ significantly from Epic Games\u2019 actual reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, on Nov. 5, 2023, a post on the official Fortnite X (formerly Twitter) account revealed that the Fortnite <a href=\"https:\/\/thunderpick.io\/blog\/og-overview\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"39\" title=\"OG Esports\">OG<\/a> launch led to a record-breaking 44.7 million players logged in. This shattered the previous record of 12.3 million concurrent users set during the Travis Scott \u201cAstronomical\u201d live event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Way to start things off with a big bang \ud83d\udca5<br><br>We&#39;re blown away by the response to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FortniteOG?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#FortniteOG<\/a>. Since the methodology behind the website\u2019s data collection is unspecified, it is hard to determine the reason for this shortfall.
