The Thunderpick World Championship (TWC) 2025 NA Series 2 was anything but boring. From July 24 to Aug. 2, the tournament delivered nonstop action and masterclass plays that kept us glued to our screens, ranging from explosive clutches to flawless aces. It was clear that teams went full throttle for a shot at the Finals!
While there were countless bangers, we’ve done the impossible task of narrowing down only the most unforgettable moments from the series.
1. Getting Info Bite Back Against M80 (Semifinal)
Despite not making a deep run at TWC NA Series 2, Getting Info didn’t go down without a fight. The underdogs drew in the first half of Overpass, but M80 closed the map 13-3 after the swap. Ancient was no better, with M80 leading both halves 8-4 and 5-1, respectively, to grab the Grand Final slot.
In Round 12 on Overpass, slump opened with a sneaky AWP quickscope and dropped HexT through smoke. This was right before MarKE landed a crisp headshot on s1n. From there, slump switched to his rifle, mowing down slaxz- for the 2k and locking in a 6-6 CT half.
By Round 19, M80 were up 11-7 on the CT side. Lake took the lead, shutting down FaNg, snav, and MarKE with a clean M4A4 3k on A site.
Getting Info had an early 4-0 lead on Ancient, with shane landing a crazy 3k with an AK-47. He tore through Swisher and s1n through the smoke before wallbanging Lake in the head to secure the plant.
2. Wildcard Mow Down NRG (Semifinal)
After losing 13-9 to NRG on Nuke, Wildcard pulled off a reverse sweep to seal their spot in the Grand Final, going 13-9 on Dust2 and 13-8 on Overpass. Supported by their team, Peeping (1.32 rating) and JBa (1.13 rating) had the highest impact, with 53-48 and 48-43 KD each across the series.
In Round 18, Peeping pulled an incredible ace on Dust2 with his AK47 to tie the scoreline 9-9, giving them the momentum they needed to push all the way.

NRG didn’t make it too easy, though. Jeorge ripped through Wildcard with a 3k spray in Round 7 of Overpass after a well-timed flash assist from nitr0.

By Round 15, NRG and Wildcard were tied 7-7. But it didn’t take stanislaw long to swing it back Wildcard’s way after he headshot xotic and nitr0 in a 2v1 clutch on an eco.

3. M80 Cleans Out Wildcard (Grand Final)
M80 began the Grand Final strong on Overpass, closing out the map 13-7 after a convincing 9-3 start on T and splitting rounds 4-4 after the swap. Despite Peeping topping the server with the most kills (19), it simply wasn’t enough to keep Lake (1.50 rating) and slaxz- (1.40 rating) from stealing the show.
In Round 3, Lake shredded Peeping with his MAC-10 before snapping onto Sonic and stanislaw for a slick 3k—all headshots!
Holding B site, Lake delivered another filthy 3k spray transfer in Round 4, taking out stanislaw and JBa before tapping Peeping to finish the round.

By Round 20, M80 were up 12-7 and only one round from closing it out. slaxz- landed a stunning AWP 2k, and though Sonic answered with a 2k and plant in a 1v4, s1n made quick work of him to kick Wildcard out of the fight.
4. M80 Destroys Wildcard (Grand Final)
M80 decimated Wildcard in the Grand Final on Ancient, going 10-2 on CT in the first half before closing it out 13-3 after the swap. Despite it being Wildcard’s map pick, it was an absolute slugfest from start to finish, with HexT (1.8 rating) and slaxz- (1.77 rating) leading the charge with 17 and 19 kills, respectively.
After a tight defuse from slaxz- in the opener, M80 wasted no time bringing the thunder. IGL s1n pulled off a huge 3k, dropping JBa, stanislaw, and Peeping with the FAMAS in the following round.
After slaxz- opened with an AWP pick on fr3nd, Lake closed out Round 8 with another wild 3k, spraying down stanislaw, Peeping, and Sonic with support from HexT on Short.
HexT followed that up with a clinical 3k of his own in Round 9, clutching the 1v3 with headshots on fr3nd and JBa before swinging his M4A1 on stanislaw and locking in the defuse.

On T-side, slaxz- opened the Pistol Round with an impeccable 4k, grabbing a quick 2k while down 2v5 before nearly clutching a 1v3 and narrowly missing the ace!
