Our Predictions For DreamLeague Season 27
With all the best Dota 2 esports teams in attendance, looking to close out 2025 on a high note, sparks will surely fly at DreamLeague Season 27.
As an online event, there’s a pinch more volatility to consider. Less experienced players do not need to handle the extra pressure of a LAN environment, giving them a chance to shine and cause upsets. This makes predicting the outcome of DreamLeague Season 27 an invigorating task.
Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest available odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.
Team Falcons
After winning The International 2025 (TI14) and lifting the Aegis of Champions, Team Falcons continue to soar. Many Dota 2 esports fans, analysts, and other pros consider the squad led by Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf the best in the business.
Coming back strong after a short break, Team Falcons kicked off the new season with a 2nd-place finish at BLAST Slam IV, and put up a dominating performance at FISSURE Playground 2, lifting yet another trophy. The squad is showcasing tremendous recent form. If TI14 MVP, Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, can smash the midlane once again, there’s no stopping Team Falcons.
Team Falcons roster:
- Oliver “skiter” Lepko
- Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
- Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf (Captain)
- Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
- Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu
- Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling (Coach)
Team Spirit
On paper, Team Spirit is considered a top contender in any tournament they enter. The Esports World Cup 2025 champions were the favorites heading into TI14, but crashed out earlier. In the new season, Team Spirit has failed to add more silverware to their trophy cabinet. However, the squad recently posted a strong result at PGL Wallachia Season 6, finishing 2nd after a slugfest against MOUZ in the Grand Final.
Team Spirit’s recent results show a return to form. It’s also a good sign that their new captain is acclimating well. After Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov decided to put his Dota 2 career on pause, Team Spirit announced the addition of Nikita “Panto” Balaganin on Oct. 9. Now that the squad has had enough time to stabilize, Team Spirit should claim a podium finish.
Team Spirit roster:
- Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk
- Denis “Larl” Sigitov
- Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov
- Aleksandr “rue” Filin
- Nikita “panto” Balaganin (Captain)
- Airat “Silent” Gaziev (Coach)
Tundra Esports
Throughout the year, Tundra Esports has been one of the most consistent squads, claiming multiple trophies. The additions of Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko (Oct. 9) and Matthew “Ari” Walker (Sept. 29) in the off-season have proven to be brilliant roster moves.
On Nov. 9 in the Grand Final of BLAST Slam IV, they overcame the TI14 champions, Team Falcons, in a comeback to win 3-2. It was their third BLAST Slam trophy in a row, and proved their revitalized roster has what it takes to beat the best in the business.
Tundra Esports roster:
- Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko
- Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov
- Neta “33” Shapira (Captain)
- Matthew “Ari” Walker
- Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon
- David “MoonMeander” Tan (Coach)
MOUZ
After TI14, the new MOUZ squad (announced on Sept. 20) has risen through the ranks with incredible prowess, placing 2nd at FISSURE Universe Episode 7, and 3rd/4th at BLAST Slam IV. The team claimed top scalps on their way to podium finishes.
On Nov. 23 at PGL Wallachia Season 6, MOUZ won its first top-tier Dota 2 LAN trophy ever, defeating a frightening Team Spirit after a 3-2 slugfest in the Grand Final. With momentum on their side, MOUZ is a strong contender for a podium finish—and could go all the way.
MOUZ roster:
- Remco “Crystallis” Arets (On Loan)
- Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng
- Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan
- Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy
- Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp (Captain)
- Daniel “ImmortalFaith” Moza (Coach)
