Couldn’t watch the nail-biting action live? We’ve got you covered! Here are the top moments from the TWC EU Series 2, with a focus on the journey of the teams who made it to the Grand Final.
SINNERS Grind Through Group D
SINNERS Esports didn’t do well at the EU Series 1 event, dropping out in the Group Stage with a 0-2 record. Led by Sebastian “beastik” Daňo, they overcame their previous showing by topping Group D at the EU Series 2.
In the opening match of Group D, SINNERS got off to a shaky start, narrowly beating RUBY 2-1. The second map, Mirage, even required overtime.
Putting doubts of their form to rest, SINNERS proceeded to convincingly sweep Metizport 2-0 in the next round, with a 13-8 score on Nuke and 13-4 on Overpass.

SINNERS Power Up Through The Playoffs
After making it out of the Group Stage, SINNERS propelled themselves into 2nd gear. With every match, the squad improved, powering up throughout the Playoffs Stage.
In the Round of 16, SINNERS clashed with Alliance in a thrilling match. Alliance won the first map, Dust2, with a strong 13-5 score. However, on the edge of elimination, SINNERS showed their prowess to pull off a spectacular comeback.
For us, the entire SINNERS vs. Alliance match was one big highlight, with high-level plays from both squads. We recommend taking some time to watch the whole match below.
In the Quarterfinals against HOTU, SINNERS’ form further improved, as they won the opening map, Nuke, with a solid 13-9 score.
One of our favorite moments from the map was when IGL beastik, in the first round of play, pulled off three kills and bagged an assist for good measure.

On HOTU’s map pick, Dust2, SINNERS didn’t give their opponents a chance to stabilize. They managed to take a 7-5 lead in the first half on the CT side, and finished with six T side wins for a 13-6 score.
Our favorite moment from Dust2 has to be Peter “Pepo” Ružička’s insane 3v1 clutch in the 8th round!

With momentum on their side, SINNERS went into the match against 500 with the utmost confidence, and it paid off, leading to one of the most dominant results of the EU Series 2.
SINNERS didn’t give their opponents much to work with, thanks to plays such as Jordan “stressarN” Manevski’s triple kill in the 2nd Pistol Round on Overpass to seal the deal.

With a 13-3 win on Overpass and a 13-4 win on Nuke, SINNERS secured their spot in the Grand Final of EU Series 2.
ENCE’s Spotless Playoffs Run
As one of the highest-ranked teams at the EU Series 2, ENCE had everything to prove, and they delivered. The squad started their journey in the Playoffs Stage as one of eight direct invites.
In the match against SPARTA, they showed solid form. They won 2-0, which included a 13-9 score on both Ancient and Mirage.
ENCE faced Partizan in what ended up being a close Quarterfinals. On ENCE’s map pick, Mirage, they went up 9-3 in the first half. However, Partizan started building towards a comeback with seven T rounds, before ENCE closed out the first map 13-9.
One highlight from the map is Rigon “rigoN” Gashi’s three kills in the 20th round to put ENCE on map point.

On Partizan’s map pick, Dust2, sparks flew as the teams were tied 6-6 in the first half. However, ENCE showed their resilience to pull ahead in the 2nd half, winning the map 13-11 to close out the series 2-0.
ENCE’s last hurdle on a path to the Grand Final was Betclic Apogee. On ENCE’s map pick, Ancient, the teams were tied 6-6 in the 1st half, but ENCE pulled ahead yet again in the 2nd half of play to win 13-10. Hats off to Betclic Apogee’s Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski for topping the scoreboard on Ancient despite his team’s loss.
On the CT side of Mirage, ENCE pulled ahead with a strong 9-3 scoreline. They finished off the round with a 13-7 final score to beat Betclic Apogee 2-0, securing their spot in the Grand Final.
A Comeback In The Grand Final
One of the most exciting things that can happen in a best-of-three Grand Final is a reverse-sweep comeback. And at the EU Series 2, that’s exactly what happened.
ENCE got off to a decent 7-5 start on the CT side of Nuke, SINNERS’ map pick. With Neityu and myltsi’s clean Pistol Round, ENCE showed confidence.
When teams switched sides, SINNERS completely ran away with it, scoring eight rounds in a row for a 13-7 win.
On ENCE’s map pick, Dust2, they put their big match temperament on full display. Despite being one map down in a best-of-three, ENCE pulled off beautiful plays on the T side to take control of the map.
As teams switched sides, SINNERS only got one T side round on the board, before ENCE won 13-5, tying up the Grand Final 1-1.
With momentum now on their side, ENCE got off to a flying start on Mirage, with an 8-4 scoreline on the CT side. Despite some close rounds from SINNERS, ENCE managed to close out proceedings with a 13-5 scoreline.
With the win on Mirage, ENCE completed the reverse-sweep comeback to claim their rightful spot in our upcoming Closed Qualifier. Congratulations!
